About Terry Kemple

Terry was a successful entrepreneur in the IT arena prior to committing to full-time Christian service. As a partner in Tampa Data Systems, he provided turnkey IT solutions to businesses throughout the Tampa Bay area. In the mid-1980’s he founded TKI, an IT consulting firm that served companies that had technicians who performed installations and repairs in the field. His reputation in this field led him to engagements across the United States, Canada, and Mexico and on three other continents – SouthAmerica, Europe, and Asia. Terry has been involved in Christian advocacy for over 25 years. In 2000, he closed TKI and has served terms as Executive Director of Christian Coalition of Florida (Judeo-Christian values), Florida Right to Life(Sanctity of Life), and STAND (Youth Evangelism). For the past 15 years he has led Community Issues Council, a Christian ministry founded by him, his wife Shirley, and friend Marilee Bock. The Mission of CIC is: “To promote Judeo-Christian values by educating and uniting the Church to be able to engage our community in the issues of the day.” The primary concerns for CIC are: Defending the Constitution’s Guarantee of Religious Liberty Taking a Stand for the Sanctity of Life Bringing Truth to the Discussion of Traditional Family Opposing the Expansion of Gambling in Florida Combating the Sex Industry Challenging the Indoctrination of our Children in the Public Schools Until 2016, the work of CIC was primarily in Hillsborough County. In recent years, the ministry of CIC began to narrow to a focus on Protecting Our Children and broaden geographically to additional Florida counties as people contacted Terry asking for help. Terry and his wife Shirley have 5 daughters, 13 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. Like many in our land today, their vested interest in the future of Florida and America has galvanized them into action.
